Air France Adjusts Flight Schedule Ahead of Pilots Strike on June 11-14

Air_France_DXVO-P041474_06 (2)Air France’s pilot unions have announced a four-day strike from June 11, right at the start of Euro 2016 soccer championship, until June 14, in a protest over pay.

In an announcement on Friday morning, Air France said that the adjustment of its flight schedule for June 11 is currently in progress and will be published later today.

For the following days, from June 12 to 14, the airline’s flight schedule will be adapted accordingly.

Travellers should check Air France’s web page for further information and instructions in regards to their flights.

It is noted that Air France flights operated by an aircraft of other airlines, including HOP, KLM and Delta, are not affected by this strike.

Meanwhile, the unions said in a joint statement that further strikes may be scheduled. The soccer tournament begins in Paris on June 10 and will run until July 10.

Athens

According to an update from Air France’s office in Greece, the June 11 flights AF1833 Athens Paris and AF1832 Paris Athens will most likely be cancelled. Travellers should check with their travel agents or Air France’s website.
