Spyrou Hotels Appoints John Grigoras as New Deputy Manager – Sales and Marketing

John GrigorasThe Spyrou Hotels Group announced recently that John Grigoras has been appointed to the position of Deputy Manager – Sales and Marketing.

Spyrou Hotels operates the Rigas Hotel, Skopelos Holidays Hotel & Spa, Blue Green Bay and Elios Holidays Hotel, Pan Bar, Ormos Restaurant and Elis Restaurant and is holder of the Spyrou Philoxenia hotel management firm.

“We’re confident that by having John on our team, Spyrou Hotels and Spyrou Philoxenia shall enhance their brand awareness and attempt for further expansion in both Greek and international tourist markets”, George Michalis, General Director of Spyrou Hotels, said in an announcement.

For the past five years, Mr. Grigoras served as Sales Manager for Travelive.com, a leader in luxury FIT services for Greece, Italy, Spain, Turkey and Egypt and is currently the owner of Up & Go Travel LLC, specializing in cruise and land-packages globally.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Grigoras has held management positions in sales and marketing at Travelive, Antenna Group (International Division), and Dish Network (Greek language services) in the U.S. He holds three Bachelors of Sciences (Marketing, International Business, and International Studies) from The Pennsylvania State University.

“I am excited to join the “Spyrou Hotels” family as the new Deputy Manager – Sales and Marketing”, Mr. Grigoras said.

“The company has chartered a significant course in hospitality on Skopelos that I wish to further contribute to. Skopelos is a sophisticated destination and our goal at Spyrou Hotels is to offer our guests fresh and refined services and experiences in harmony with the setting”, he added.

The four properties of Spyrou Hotels can accommodate more than 880 guests with a total of 240 rooms, apartments, studios, suites and bungalows with private or sharing pools.

“Spyrou Hotels is taking the necessary steps to ensure that each visitor becomes a brand ambassador both for our hotels and for Greek hospitality as well”, Mr. Grigoras said.
