Ryanair Launches Athens Summer 2016 Schedule, Unveils Seven New Routes
Irish low fares airline, Ryanair, on Tuesday launched its Summer 2016 schedule for Athens that features a total of 19 routes.
Ryanair has announced seven new routes from Athens to Berlin, Bucharest, Dublin, Corfu, Malta, Bologna and Mykonos and more flights to Thessaloniki (from 6 to 7 daily), Rhodes (from one to two daily) and Santorini (from 2 to 3 daily).
The airline’s schedule for Summer 2016 is expected to deliver some 3.4 million customers p.a. and support 2,550 “on-site” jobs at Athens Airport.
In celebrating the launch of the Summer 2016 schedule and seven new routes, Ryanair has released seats on flights from Athens to Malta and Bologna at fares starting from 22,99 euros, which are available for booking until midnight Tuesday (April 12). The flights can be booked through the airline’s website.
