Greek Diving Tourism in the Spotlight at boot Düsseldorf 2016

Greek scuba-diving options, trends and products recently traveled to Germany, and took center stage at one of the world’s largest watersports trade fairs, boot Düsseldorf 2016.

Aiming to get Europe’s market of over 5 million divers coming to Greece, seven scuba-diving centers joined scubahellas.com in a presentation of Greece’s scuba offerings with the support of the Rhodes Municipality.

Exhibition participants visited the scubahellas.com stand to gain more insight into diving tourism options in Greece, which currently boasts over 200 diving centers across the country. Boot 2016 participants got to know more about the best destinations to pursue the sport, the facilities and services available, where and when to see Greece’s 150 shipwrecks and underwater caves, and much more relating to their favorite hobby.

“Visitors’ interest was significantly higher than last year, while scuba-diving professionals approached us with substantial proposals for Greece’s enhancement… For 2016, we will remain focused on our target with efforts for the continuous and coordinated promotion of the local diving market,” said Avgerinos Vrazopoulos, founder of scubahellas.com.

During the 10-day show, the scubahellas.com team met with the largest companies operating in global diving industry, informed journalists and held private meetings, invited more than 850 dive centers based in Germany, designed media trips and promoted dive packages to specialized tour operators.
