“We are especially pleased  to be able to say that we are now IOSA Registered”, Gheorghe Racaru, General Manager Blue Air, said.

“The IOSA audit was a long and rewarding process that resulted in increased safety and operation alignment within our organization by applying internationally recognized and accepted standards. We will continue working to ensure operational excellence for our passengers.”

During the audit, which involves approximately 900 standards and recommended practices, the following areas are assessed: flight operations, operational control and flight dispatch, aircraft engineering and maintenance, cabin operations, ground handling operations, cargo operations and security management.

On his part, IATA’s regional vice president Europe, Rafael Schvartzman, congratulated Blue Air for making the commitment and obtaining IOSA Registration.

“IOSA is an internationally accepted and recognized evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline. IOSA registration involves a great deal of hard work and requires a significant commitment of people, time and resources.”
