Athens’ Stanley Hotel Announces Renovation Plans
The Stanley Hotel on Karaiskaki Square, in Metaxourghio, Athens, has announced plans to renovate more than 65 rooms this season.
Following last year’s renovation of 50 rooms, through which guest satisfaction increased significantly, the hotel’s management announced that it will continue refurbishment works and feature more than 110 Superior Rooms in 2016.
Improvement to the rooms include new interior decoration, upgraded floors, walls, bedding, furniture, and noise insulation. According to management, The Stanley’s Superior Rooms represent the biggest increase in product quality in many years.
In addition to the room renovation, The Stanley recently refurbished the reception and lobby area, with new easy-check-in kiosks, improved lobby furniture for guests to relax, and high-speed computer terminals.
The Stanley has also upgraded the first floor Day Bar with new glass enclosure and big-screen TV for guests to stay updated on the latest news, sports and programmes.
During this holiday season, The Stanley invites guests to come explore the improvements made. The hotel will be unveiling its Christmas decorations this week, which include a three-meter high tree in the Day Bar and a customizable exterior lighting system that will aim to spread the holiday spirit throughout Karaiskaki Square.
