HATTA Awards Best Travel Agency Brochures, Websites at Philoxenia Expo

For the 25th year, the Hellenic Association of Travel and Tourist Agencies (HATTA) honored the best travel agency brochures and websites during the 31st International Tourism Exhibition Philoxenia held November 12-15.

Special guests at the award ceremony included Alternate Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura, Vice Governor of Halkidiki responsible for Tourism issues Ioannis Yiorgos, Thessaloniki Mayor Yiannis Boutaris, General Secretary of Tourism Makis Zacharatos, Hellenic Chamber of Hotels President Yiorgos Tsakiris, Professional Chamber of Thessaloniki President Michalis Zorpidis, Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) General Secretary Dimitris Tryfonopoulos, Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE) President Andreas Andreadis, TIF Helexpo President Anastasios Tzikas,  Thessaloniki Convention Bureau President Despina Amarantidou and Aegean Airlines (HATTA’s grand sponsor) Sales Director Greece Stefanos Sadopoulos.

• “Happening Now #Greek Summer” campaign

HATTA honored the Greek Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism for the national communication campaign “Happening Now #Greek Summer”, which launched in the midst of Greece’s economic and political instability during the summer to increase bookings and further strengthen Greek tourism.

• “Filepse Tous” campaign

HATTA honored Aegean Airlines for the “Filepse Tous” (Treat Them) campaign which promoted Greek hospitality and its products.
