The Greek Travel Pages (GTP) announced on Wednesday the completion of its partnership with international tourism fair, World Travel Market 2015, held in London last week.
Serving as an Official Media Partner, the GTP reached out to new audiences through non-stop coverage of the four-day event with real-time updates through its online news site and social media, and represented Greece at WTM 2015 activities and happenings.
At the same time, GTP Headlines was lauded for its engaging updates, and ranked among the Top 25 ῾tweeters’ of WTM 2015 London.
The World Travel Market attracts over 50,000 senior travel industry professionals, government ministers and international press to London every November, to talk tourism and discover the latest industry opinions and trends. In its 36th year, the event generates more than £2.5 billion of travel industry contracts.
For over 40 years, the Greek Travel Pages (GTP), initially as a go-to guide and then growing into a digital news platform, provides original English-language content and daily tourism sector news to local tourism professionals as well as to anyone wishing to gain insight and information about all tourism-related issues in Greece, serving in this way as a “mediator” of sorts and armed with decades-long knowhow and experience which can pave the way for new contacts and collaborations.
The GTP plans include participation in local and international tourism fairs, as well as new synergies and partnerships, with the aim to contribute to the far-reaching promotion of “Destination Greece”.
