Dear colleagues,

This year, following on the steps of 2014, is a very successful year for the Greek tourism. For one more year tourism has a decisive role in Greece’s economy and will continue to be a leader for the years to come. The Greek travel product combines a range of attractions for the travelers, such as unique experiences, beauty, history, tradition, great hospitality and an abundance of other options. If the political stability continues and major reforms in all sectors are not held back, then Greece will significally boost it’s ranking in world’s leading travel destinations.

The success of those years is not random. Great efforts have been made from the hospitality sector in order to ensure the best possible satisfaction of our visitors, although hotels are operating under a difficult financial environment.

In order to give the Greek tourism a boost for the future all the tourism professionals need to enhance their efforts towards even better service and cater to the new future trends and modern needs.

Therefore I am optimistic for the future and I am positive that Greece will become once again the ideal place for travelers.
