Philoxenia, Hotelia and Polis Exhibits Join Forces, Explore Tourism
Covering tourism from the ground up is the focus of this year’s Philoxenia, Hotelia and Polis shows, which come together as one mega exhibit to be held on November 12-15 at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition and Congress Center .
The 31st Philoxenia and the Hotelia show, which now includes new categories such as design and renovation, new technologies as well as cleaning and maintenance, have joined forces and aim to attract more than 100 hosted buyers from 30 countries. The show will also include exhibitors from Turkey, Bulgaria, Tunisia, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Macedonia, Indonesia, Cyprus, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The mega-exhibit aims to present the country’s leading tourist destinations, new technologies as well as tourism-related products and services.
In the meantime, with the support of the Central Union of Municipalities and Communities, the Polis show will offer visitors the chance to find out more about developments in the area of urban services and best practices in order to improve the quality of living in modern-day cities.
Parallel events include Philoxenia’s “Destination Thessaloniki” conference, which will focus on promoting the northern port city as an all-year-round destination through alternative and targeted forms of tourism. As well as Ηotelia’s DPOINT Hotel Village, dedicated to the design, decoration and renovation of hotels, complete with a series of workshops.
