Sector Body GEPOET Upgrades its Online Presence

Representing the country’s travel ventures, the General Panhellenic Federation of Tourism Enterprises (GEPOET) announced last week that it’s new site – www.gepoet.gr – is up and running.

GEPOET invites sector professionals – travel agencies, tour coach operators, shipping agents and yacht companies – as well as visitors to visit the site for information about current industry issues including everything from legislation covering tourist office and tour bus operations to tourism fairs and events and GEPOET activities and actions.

The site, which is updated daily and will soon include applications to facilitate industry activities, provides interested parties access to applications and information on documents required forspecial tour coach permits, among others.

With over 2,000 members, GEPOET also represents shipping agencies and yachting enterprises and has a primary objective to further improve Greek tourism on an international level.
