Tsagarada Escape Fest Promises Adventure in Paradise

It’s all fun ‘n’ games and plenty of adventure at this year’s Tsagarada Escape Festival to be held in the traditional Mt Pelion village of Tsagarada on July 2-5.

Adventure activities take center stage during the four-day fest, which takes place on the forested slopes and pristine beaches of Tsagarada, including such sports as climbing, canyoning, mountain cycling, hiking, sea kayaking, archery, horseback riding, flying fox rides, and 3km and 10km mountain running races.

Jointly organized by the Tsagarada Tourism & Development Association, the Region of Thessaly, the Magniton Kivotos cultural society and the Zagora-Mouresi Municipality, with the support of local experts, the Hellenic Rescue Team and Life Guard Hellas, the festival will also include parallel events: a first aid seminar, a workshop on the herbs of Mt Pelion, photo exhibitions and concerts.

On the occasion of the Tsagarada Escape Festival, local professionals will be offering discounts and special deals to visitors while the Magnesia intercity buses will be running regular day trips.
