Syros Serves Local Specialties at Athens Golden Hall Mall

The Municipality of Syros-Ermoupolis will offer Athenians many samples of its cuisine and traditional specialties for two days at the Athens’ Golden Hall shopping center in Marousi.

A fine variety оf local specialties of the island of Syros will be available at the shopping center on Friday, June 12 at 5-7pm and Saturday, June 13 at 12noon to 2pm.

Syros is one of the 50 Greek islands featured through the “Discover the South Aegean” promo campaign running at Golden Hall.

For four months the sights, tastes and feel of the Dodecanese and Cyclades islands will be the focus of activities at the shopping center. Consumers have the chance to become acquainted with the culture, gastronomy, history and tourism offerings of the featured Greek islands through a series of events including tastings, art and photography exhibits, music happenings and children’s activities.

The campaign will run through to September 10.
