Curtain Falls for the ‘Caprice of Mykonos’ Bar
Caprice, one of the most popular bars on Mykonos, has closed after over 30 years in business in the island’s Little Venice district.
According to reports, Caprice owner Nikos Gryparis has been evicted by the owner of the property that houses the bar, Giorgos Zisimopoulos, following a legal dispute.
Mr. Zisimopoulos will reportedly hand over the ownership of the venue to his children who will run the bar under a new name following a renovation. The new bar is expected to operate next season.
Named by Newsweek as one of the 10 best bars in the world, Caprice was among the top choices of visitors to the popular Greek island.
