Ellinair Adds Greece Links, Ups Flights, Offers Competitive Fares

Greek carrier Ellinair announced its boosted summer 2015 program with new connections between Greek destinations and hubs abroad, greater flight frequency, competitive prices, and for the first time, six new domestic links.

A Mouzenidis Group airline, Ellinair has now added Thessaloniki-Tbilisi, Thessaloniki-Almaty and Athens-Domodedovo routes to its new schedule.

Ellinair’s 2015 summer flights, to be run by Airbus 319, RJ85 and Boeing 737/300 aircraft, will include the following routes: Thessaloniki-St Petersburg, Tbilisi, Kalinigrand, Ekaterinburg, Samara, Perm, Astrakhan, Ufa, Volgograd, Nizhniy Novgorod, Kazan, Almaty, Astana and Novosibirsk.

In the meantime, Ellinair will be handling domestic flights on its 96-seater RJ85 aircraft, connecting Northern Greece directly to five popular destinations weekly: Santorini, Mykonos, Rhodes, Zakynthos and Heraklion, Crete.

Established in 2013, Ellinair is part of the Mouzenidis Group, whose interests include Mouzenidis Travel, real estate company Grekodom, medical tourism firm Grekomed, Mouzenidis Intour, four-star hotel Potidea Palace in Halkidiki, CS&R cargo services and EllinYacht renting services, among others.
