King George Hotel Receives Two Accolades at 2015 Golden Chef’s Hat Awards in Athens
The Tudor Hall Restaurant of the King George hotel received two important gastronomic awards at the 2015 Golden Chef’s Hat Awards ceremony held recently in Athens.
Tudor Hall, with a grade 15.5/20, was honored for the second year in a row with a “Golden Chef’s Hat” and also received the award of Greek Cuisine.
Since 1992, the Golden Chef’s Hat Awards are given to the best restaurants in Greece and organized by Athinorama magazine/city guide. The awards are given every year by the Athinorama tasting committee.
“The dishes curated by the Executive Chef of Hotel Grande Bretagne & King George, Sotiris Evangelou, and the Chef de Cuisine of the Tudor Hall restaurant, Alexandros Koskinas, lend harmony in flavor, symmetry in appearance and an emotionally laden Greekness that is distinct and expressive”, Athinorama said.
“In other words, it’s a benchmark for modern creative cuisine.”
The Tudor Hall Restaurant’s philosophy is to offer authentic Greek seasonal dishes with a modern twist, while a key element of differentiation is the use of fresh seasonal vegetables and raw materials.
“Its commitment is to provide excellent hospitality and customer service by offering authentic exceptional experiences”, the King George hotel’s management said.
“This award is an important recognition of all this effort”.
The Tudor Hall Restaurant is located on the 7th floor of the King George hotel.
