Celestyal Cruises Invests in Education Via Program on Milos Island
Investing in young people and ensuring their “journey to knowledge” is the motto of Celestyal Cruises’ corporate social responsibility program, which ran earlier this month on the Cycladic island of Milos in collaboration with the municipality and the Herakleidon Museum.
Under the title “Science – Art and Mathematics”, some 400 students from Milos were introduced to the wonderful world of science through a series of interactive activities as part of a series of educational programs.
Recognizing the Herakleidon Museum’s overall contribution to culture and education, Celestyal Cruises has supported its expansion to Milos in collaboration with island’s mayor Gerasimos Damoulakis.
The Herakleidon Museum was founded in 2004 by Paul and Anna-Belinda Firos and has since offered young people a gateway to culture and art.
Celestyal Cruises is a subsidiary of Cyprus-based Louis Cruises, the fifth largest cruise operator in the world.
