Pakis Papadimitriou, Manager Corporate Quality at AIA, receives the award from Akis Scherzo, EEDE Director General.

The Hellenic Management Association (EEDE) awarded Athens International Airport (AIA) for its ongoing “i-mind” program, which aims to guarantee the high quality of services offered via direct input from the airport’s employees.

AIA was elected the winner in EDEE’s Stakeholder Engagement category for its novel “i-mind” program during the Corporate Affairs Excellence Awards held in Athens on January 28.

“I-mind” urges airport staff to have their “eye on the passenger”. Via the program they are invited to “step in” as travellers and assess the airport experience and the services offered as viewed by thousands of AIA daily tourists and visitors.

Founded in 1962, EEDE is a not-for-profit organization contributing to the promotion and dissemination of modern management principles, methods and practices. The Corporate Affairs Excellence Awards reward innovative initiatives by Greek entrepreneurs, which promote competitiveness and sustainability.
