In early January, the airline launched the Public Lounge, a functional welcoming area, accessible to everyone at departure gate 4 of Athens Airport.

At the new AEGEAN Public Lounge one can relax before the flight, surf the Internet by using available tablets and check-in easily and quickly at the self-check-in kiosks located in the area. Passengers may also issue their own baggage tag by using the self-check-in kiosks.

Furthermore, breathtaking scenes of Greece are screened in the lounge on AEGEAN’s new channel, “enter Greece”.

The airline’s second amenity aims to make family travel much easier and more comfortable. As of January 1, new baggage drop-off counters exclusively for families travelling with young children up to 12 years old are available at the Athens, Thessaloniki and Larnaca airports.

Aegean’s new services are part of its new program “12 months 12 good news for You”. The new program sees the company presenting new products or services for every month of 2015.
