Greece Tourism Awards – Meet the Judges: Dimitrios Diamantis
In its second year, the Greece Tourism Awards will identify and reward excellence in the tourism industry.
One of this year’s judges, Dimitrios Diamantis, MBA director Les Roches International School of Hotel Management, Switzerland, underlines the strongest advantages of the Greek tourism product: hospitality, quality of accommodation, diversity and innovation.
According to Mr. Diamantis, these strong advantages are placing the Greek tourism product in a unique position.
“The recent efforts to promote the diversity of Greek tourism has generated a significant demand both in Europe and Asia,” he explains.
“China, for example, seems to be expressing a dynamic interest, which may emerge as a pattern.”
His evaluation of the nominees for this year’s tourism awards will focus on innovation, strategy, services offered, pricing policy, sustainability and competitiveness.
