Restrictions for Travellers to US
Effective January 1, the US Federal Department is implementing restrictions concerning the transport of hazardous materials applicable to all passengers travelling to cities in the US.
According to regulation 49 C.F.R. 175.25, airline officials are required to notify passengers of limitations of transporting dangerous goods either before the purchase of their ticket or at airport check-in.
Among the airlines affected is Copa Airlines, which serves the following US cities: Boston, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Orlando, Tampa and Washington Dulles. The Panama-based carrier provides commercial air service throughout North, Central and South America, serving 45 destinations in 24 countries.
Intermodal Air is the GSA (general sales agent) of Copa Airlines in Greece.
