Luxury Hotels In Greece Shine at Boutique Hotel Awards 2014
Two hotels located in Greece shined at this year’s Boutique Hotel Awards, announced recently at a special ceremony at The Montcalm Hotel in Marble Arch, London. In its fourth year, the Boutique Hotel Awards aim to showcase the world’s most prestigious boutique establishments.
The luxurious Poseidonion Grand Hotel on Spetses came out a double winner and scooped up the awards for “World’s Best Classic Boutique Hotel” and “Best Classic Boutique Hotel in Europe”.
The five-star Bill and Coo Suites and Lounge on Mykonos was titled “Best Beach or Coastal Boutique Hotel in Europe”.
The ceremony brought together an array of boutique hoteliers, press, and industry insiders from Australia, Fiji, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Indonesia, Laos, Netherlands, Norway, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, UK, USA and more.
The awards were hosted by Kathryn Pretzel-Shiels of American Express and this year’s keynote speech was delivered by Edward Griffiths, Deputy Master of the Royal Household, Buckingham Palace.
