Tourism Minister Leaves For The UK To Promote Greece

Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni departed for the United Kingdom on Friday 31 October, to attend the World Travel Market (WTM) 2014 that opens its doors on 3 November at ExCeL London.

During her stay in the British capital, Mrs. Kefalogianni will hold talks with representatives of international travel organizations and give a series of interviews to international and UK media outlets such as CNN, BBC, Bloomberg, The Gardian, The Independent and The Telegraph.

According to an announcement by the Tourism Ministry, among other things, Mrs. Kefalogianni will inform the British public on the national strategic plan for Greek tourism and the prospects for the coming years.

Mrs. Kefalogianni will also give a press conference at ExCeL London on the opening day of the WTM with the secretary general of the Greek National Tourism Organization, Panos Livadas. They will review Greece’s performance in 2014 and inform on plans for next year.
