Grekland Panorama 2015 Exhibitors To Be Granted Free Membership At Hellenic-Swedish Chamber of Commerce
All participating exhibitors at the upcoming Grekland Panorama, the second fair for Greece in Stockholm, will be granted free membership to the Hellenic-Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the year 2015. All related membership costs will be covered by North Events, the fair’s organizer.
The move is aimed at strengthening the tourism relations between Greece and Sweden.
The announcement was made during the 1st Business Forum Greece-Sweden, organized by the Hellenic-Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Athens. North Events was one of the main sponsors of the forum.
As mentioned in the business forum, by the end of 2014, TUI Nordic and Apollo Kuoni expect over 650.000 Swedish travelers to have visited Greece this year, thus contributing considerably to the evolving Greek economy.
According to North Events, both countries traditionally and historically share excellent relations, therefore for companies to become members of the chamber is an asset to capitalize on and develop further in key business sectors.
“By becoming members and joining the business network of the Hellenic-Swedish Chamber of Commerce, Greek companies and organizations will be able to explore and develop new collaborations,” North Events said.
The 1st Business Forum Greece-Sweden focused on strengthening tourism development between the two countries, developing stronger commercial relations in the export product industry of Greece and promoting green technologies for a cleaner environment. Over 100 guests attended the forum.
Former Prime Minister of Sweden Göran Persson was the guest of honor and main speaker at the event, while key note speakers included Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni and the Swedish Ambassador to Greece Charlotte Wrangberg.
Grekland Panorama is a dedicated travel and taste fair for Greece and showcases destinations, hotels and tourism enterprises. The fair will take place 13-15 February at the Ericsson Globe exhibition center in Stockholm, Sweden.
