The Municipality of Thessaloniki has launched a free wireless Internet network throughout the city.
Already, residents and visitors to the city have access to free WiFi in 16 parts of Thessaloniki including Aristotelous Square and the White Tower. By the end of August, more WiFi hotspots will have been added to the network.
