All hotels on Kefalonia Island, that were damaged by two strong earthquakes in January and February, are restored and in full operation, the director of the Earthquake Rehabilitation Service, Maria Kleanthi, recently confirmed.

Speaking at a conference in Thessaloniki entitled “Experiences and lessons learned from the earthquakes of Kefalonia 2014,” Ms. Kleanthi stressed that special attention was given to the island’s hotels from the start so they could operate normally during the tourism season, Athens News Agency reported.
