Copa Airlines Launches Nonstop Service Between Montréal And Panama
Copa Airlines has launched a nonstop service four times a week between Montréal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport and Copa’s Hub of the Americas at Tocumen International Airport in Panama, Republic of Panama, with connecting service throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Montréal is Copa’s second Canadian destination and its 67th overall.
“The new flight provides Québecers with the only nonstop service between Montreal and Panama bringing local residents the greatest connectivity throughout Latin America and the Caribbean,” said Pedro Heilbron, CEO Copa Airlines.
Copa will operate a Boeing 737-700 Next Generation with 12 business class seats and 112 economy seats on the flights to Panama. Copa flight 423 will depart Montréal on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 9:33 am, arriving at Copa’s Hub of the Americas at Tocumen International Airport in Panama at 2:22 pm The return flight, 422, will depart Panama at 6 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursday, and Saturdays, arriving in Montréal at 12:49 am.
Copa Airlines, subsidiary of Copa Holdings, S.A., and a member of Star Alliance global airline network, transported more than 11 million passengers in 2013.
