Hydrotherapy Center In Fthiotida, Greece, Opens For Summer

The hydrotherapy center at the Ypati thermal spring located in Fthiotida, Greece, will open its doors for the summer season as of Saturday 7 June 2014, according to an announcement by the Public Properties Company.

The hydrotherapy center will be open daily until 31 October, including Sundays and holidays.

The open swimming pool and individual internal baths (wards A and luxury) will be accessible from 7am to 3pm. During 1 July-30 September, the swimming pool will operate from 7:00am to 8pm.

The Ypati thermal spring is situated in a wooded area in the Sperheios plain. The springs are considered similar to the Baths of Royat in France and Nauheim in Germany in terms of physicochemical composition and are recommended for treatment of heart disorders, hypertension, rheumatism, arthritis, migraine, post traumatic situations and chronic nervous diseases.

In an announcement, the Public Properties Company assured that necessary maintenance to the spa facilities has been completed.
