Free WiFi Available At Some Metro, Train Stations In Athens
STASY, the authority that manages fixed rail modes of transport, has launched a free wireless Internet network in seven selected metro and train stations in Athens, Greece.
Commuters will now have access to free WiFi in the stations of Syntagma, Panepistimio, Acropolis, Omonia, Piraeus, Neratziotissa and Doukissis Plakentias.
In July, STASY plans to expand the free WiFi service to all stations of the metro (lines 2 and 3) and the electric railway (line 1) as well as to selected tram stops, an announcement said.
The service is being provided by hellas online.
