Greek travel company Mideast will be among the sponsors of this year’s “Oscars of the travel industry,” the World Travel Awards, which will be hosted in Greece for the first time since their establishment in 1993.
The World Travel Awards acknowledge and reward outstanding achievements in all areas of the global travel industry. It is a unique event, dedicated to leading tourism enterprises and their high ranked executives and covered by the international media.
According to an announcement, Mideast will sponsor all transfers of the highly esteemed guests during their three-day stay in Athens, as well as a private four-hour cruise in the Saronic gulf. The company will also be the guests’ official travel partner for any service they may require.
“We believe it is our duty to offer to our guests a memorable experience of Greece’s unique beauty and destinations. Given the fact that the opinion of these particular executives and journalists is highly valued by the international tourism players, our main goal is for them to form an ideal image of Greece as a destination so that they become our ambassadors all over the world,” the owner and managing director of Mideast, Katerina Mousbeh, said.
The World Travel Awards will be hosted by Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso on 2 August.
