Vouliagmeni Beach Opens For Summer 2014

The sandy and popular organized beach in Vouliagmeni, just off Poseidonos Avenue and located some 20 kilometers southeastern to the center of Athens, has opened for the summer.

Vouliagmeni Beach offers free beach umbrellas and sunbeds, sport facilities (tennis, basketball, volleyball and racquetball) and a mini playground. Services include medical, lifeguard, lockers, WC/showers, disabled access & disabled WC and free parking.

The beach is open daily from 8am to 8pm until 31 October 31 2014 (admission booth closes at 7pm).

The entrance fee is 4 euros per person for all seven days of the week. A reduced 3-euro admission ticket per person is available to students aged 6-18 years, large families (relative documentation required), the elderly over 65 years (ID or passport required), university students (student ID required), soldiers and the unemployed (unemployment card required).

Children up to 6 years of age and persons with disabilities (documentation required) are allowed free entrance.
