Entrepreneurship Support Center Launches In Athens, Greece
The Municipality of Athens has launched a center to support and promote entrepreneurship and boost investments in the Greek capital.
The center will aim to provide substantial assistance to businesses in the city and also offer support to prospective investors from abroad by providing reliable information in regards to the business environment on a national and local level.
Athens Mayor Giorgos Kaminis invites businessmen to consider the center as a “one stop shop,” where every entrepreneur, young or old, big or small, Greek or foreign, can obtain reliable information for his business plans and needs.
“We aim to develop and provide facilitation services to foreign entrepreneurs that desire to do business in the city of Athens, but also pave way for new markets and exports for Athenian businesses,” Mayor Kaminis said.
The center will be in close cooperation with the country’s official investment promotion agency Enterprise Greece (formerly known as Invest in Greece).
The entrepreneurship support center is funded by the National Strategic Reference Framework (ESPA) and is part of a broader set of projects and activities carried out by the municipality under The Athens Project plan, a 10-year multidimensional development plan for the Greek capital.
The center will operate 9am to 5pm, from Monday to Friday and is located on 7 Papadiamantopoulou Street in Athens. Tel: 211-1077600, email: info@athensbsc.gr
