Ryanair Announces New Routes From Athens, Launches New Greek Website
Ryanair has announced its Athens 2014 winter schedule that includes two new routes to Brussels Charleroi and Rome Ciampino.
The low-cost airline will operate eight winter routes from its base in Athens. According to the airline, the eight routes will annually deliver over 1.4 million customers and support 1,400 on-site jobs at Athens Airport with up to 222 weekly flights.
Following the launch of Ryanair’s new base in Athens, extra daily flights will be added to both London (four daily departures) and Thessaloniki (six daily departures) this winter.
Ryanair will also add one additional based aircraft at Athens Airport (three in total).

New website for Greeks
Ryanair also unveiled its new Greek Ryanair website, which is aimed to make it easier for Greek consumers and visitors to book the low fares it provides. The airline’s new Greek website includes a “Fare Finder” feature, where customers can find and book the lowest fares by price point, route and travel period, and can share those airfares with friends and family on social media via a “Share the Fare” feature.
Ryanair has announced seats for sale across its European network, at low prices for travel in May, June and July. The low fare seats are available for booking until midnight Tuesday 6 May.
