Free Admission At The Acropolis Museum On 25 March
The Acropolis Museum will offer free admission to the general public from 9am to 5pm on Tuesday 25 March, which is a national holiday celebrated annually in Greece.
The day will be celebrated with presentations on the Parthenon, during which visitors will have the opportunity to discuss the monument’s architecture, sculptures, display, symbolism and history with the museum’s archaeologists.
The presentations will be held in Greek at 12 noon, in English at 1pm and in French at 11am. Each presentation lasts 50 minutes with a maximum of 30 visitors per group.
On the same day, the restaurant on the second floor of the museum will offer visitors “Greek traditional dishes.”
