Into the Light Hotel: Introducing The Creators & Suppliers Of An Innovative Creation

There is no doubt that the main entrance of the 100% Hotel Show that recently took place in Athens was one of the exhibition’s most impressive features. Visitors were under the impression that they were entering an actual hotel and not an exhibition.

Following is an introduction of the company responsible for the innovative project and a number of the companies that provided the materials, products and services and contributed to its success. This was a project that visitors were still talking about even days after the exhibition wrapped up.

“Into the Light Hotel” creators, materials, products & services

A31 – Design and supervision of entire project, new concrete technologies
The “Into the Light Hotel” project was constructed by the A31 Architecture & Construction company, which consists of a team of architects, designers and engineers that focus on functionality and soundness of engineering, creating spaces with clean-cut layout and vigorous construction. A31 has received distinctions in international competitions for its projects and its work has been exhibited in museums and public spaces in Athens, Barcelona, Budapest, Bilbao, Nicosia and Piran. Archetopo Landscape Design – Landscape architecture. Sand and rocks in sand garden.
Landscape architects Nicola Galiatsou and Sharik Berberian from Archetypo Landscape Design created the sand and stone garden of the “Into the Light Hotel” and made quite an impression. Many hoteliers discovered a garden design and landscape concept that they had never imagined. Archetypo Landscape Design focuses on landscape architecture in the modern city.

elite strom – mattress
elite strom is a manufacturing-commercial company for mattress, beds, pillows and sleep accessories. At the 100% Hotel Show, elite strom offered a wide range of solutions to hoteliers, related to sleeping products and discussed turning hotels into Good Morning Hotels, which is based on the concept of its Good Morning It’s Sunday! philosophy to turn every week day to a Sunday for hotel guests. Panel TV – digital communication
For the last 10 years Panel TV excels in developing, operating and marketing Dynamic Digital Signage communication solutions.
In the hotel environment, Panel TV successfully manages digital communication channels and media to promote hotel services and events, inform about sight-seeing opportunities and technologically enhance hotel aesthetics. Patiris – Kerlite floors-walls
Patiris company is active in the construction and renovation of modern residentials, commercial properties and hotel facilities.
Specializing in the bathroom and the floor, the team monitors developments in materials, applications and trends in design. Thus, they provide practical and inspired solutions to needs that arise throughout all stages of the construction.

Square Design – Floor troweled stucco
Square Design is a leading construction company based in Athens that specializes in new building materials with emphasis in decorative plasters and micro cement applications. At the 100% Hotel Show, Square Design presented the new, innovative and promising square UP “Hotel Contract Management” solution, a quality assurance service for hoteliers and hotel furniture manufacturing companies. Zikos – Specific wood applications
Zikos launched in 1995 and engages in the design and manufacture of kitchen, wardrobe and bedroom furniture. The company also undertakes special constructions for residential and business premises. With years of experience in kitchen manufacturing, Zikos uses high quality materials and mechanisms and offers cost effective solutions and is always ready to meet the most demanding tastes.

Zoumboulakis Galleries – artwork and design objects
Zoumboulakis Galleries, taking into consideration the particularities of the environment (light, climate, colors of the sea) and in collaboration with well known design houses (such as Cappellini, Magis, Established and Sons, Tolix), propose an authentic way to aesthetically upgrade interiors and exteriors, especially in the case of tourism oriented business fields. The 100% Hotel Show (8-10 February 2014) took place at the Mediterranean Exhibition Center (MEC) in Paiania, East Attica and was organized by Demand Customize Marketing.

Hosted in the “hotel lobby” was the imposing work of Greek artist Apollo Glykas that constituted a modern implementation of Shadow Theater.
