Greek Air Traffic Controllers Cancel Work Stoppage
Greek air traffic controllers have called off a three-hour work stoppage scheduled for Thursday, 30 January.
The stoppage was part of a European air traffic strike called by the Air Traffic Controllers European Unions Coordination (ATCEUC) and the European Air Transport Workers’ federation to protest against European Union EU plans for a legislation known as “Single European Sky.”
However, flights arriving and departing Greece will most likely be disrupted as work stoppages have been called by air traffic controllers in France, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary and Austria.
Travelers are advised to check the status of their flights before traveling.
