Children Spread Christmas Cheer At Athens Airport

Passengers waiting to travel and visitors at Athens International Airport were in for a treat on 23 December when 90 children entered the departure area and began to sing Greek traditional Christmas carols and other festive songs.

The children, dressed as Santa’s helpers, were first and second grade students from the 1st Rafina elementary school. The children were supervised by their music teacher Spyridoula Bakali, principal Sarantis Helmis and teachers Stavroula Alexandropoulou, Sevasti Mouhtoupi, Sofia Korre and Marilena Kalapothou.
