Travelplanet24 Wins “Internationalized E-business” Title At E-volution Awards 2013

Greek online travel agency Travelplanet24 won the Gold Award for the company’s best practices in developing activities abroad, at the 3rd E-volution Awards ceremony held 10 December in Athens.

The E-volution Awards annually honor the best practices in e-commerce business and were established by publishing company Boussias Communications and the laboratory of E-Business and E-Commerce (ELTRUN) of Athens University of Economics.

“At Travelplanet24, our activity abroad is inextricably linked with our business and dynamic development,” Philip Brinkman, CEO of Travelplanet24, said.

Travelplanet24 is currently active in 25 countries in South and Central Europe and Latin America and is one of the top 20 e-commerce companies in Greece. The company is among the top three travel agencies in Greece and 10 leading online travel agencies in Southeastern Europe from its turnover from ticket sales (200 million euros today).
