Crete: Heraklion Port Receives The Queen Elizabeth
A group of professionals from Crete were recently given the grand tour of the Queen Elizabeth cruise ship that recently docked in the port of Heraklion.
The Queen Elizabeth – an elegant “floating resort” – is the newest member of the three-ship Cunard fleet and reflects modern elite ocean travel as well as Cunard Cruise Line’s rich history.
The guests were introduced to the ship’s impressive surroundings and enjoyed an award winning menu of gourmet dishes in the Brittania Restaurant.
On 10 January 2014 the ship will launch its “Round the World” cruise and depart from the port of Southampton (embarkation and disembarkation port). The world cruise will last 118 days.
Piraeus: Queen Elizabeth homeport next summer
As of June 2014, the Queen Elizabeth will launch cruises in the Mediterranean and Cunard will include Piraeus, Greece, as the embarkation and disembarkation port for three 7-day cruises: 4 July, 8 August and 12 September.
The exclusive representative of Cunard Cruise Line in Greece is Amphitrion Group Companies. Amphitrion is also the exclusive representative of Princess Cruises and a selected partner of Carnival.
