Ryanair recently announced it will add more routes next year, including one from Dublin, Ireland, to Chania on Crete, Greece.

Dublin-Chania flights will begin as of 1 April 2014, twice a week, every Tuesday and Saturday.

On the occasion of the launch of the new routes, Ryanair is offering tickets at a very low cost for travel throughout its European network for December and January.

The Irish low-cost carrier opened its first Greek hub at Chania Airport “Ioannis Daskalogiannis” this past April and serves 26 European destinations with 106 flights per week.

The airline had said the extension of the company’s activities in the Cretan city is expected to create some 500 job positions.
