E-Tourism Conference “Digi.Travel” To Be Held In Athens
Taking under consideration that technology is essential, not only for the sale of a tourism product but also throughout all stages of its marketing and distribution, the Athens Development & Destination Management Agency has announced that an electronic tourism conference will be held within the framework of the Black Sea Tourism Forum & Workshop to take place in Athens 10-11 October 2013 at the Acropolis Museum.
The e-tourism conference Digi.Travel will aim to offer more options of targeted and specialized information to the professionals participating in the forum: distinguished buyers from Europe (UK, Germany, Switzerland, The Netherlands and France), the U.S. and and the Black Sea region.
Digi.Travel will take place on 11 October at the Acropolis Museum.
“Providing complete information to the sector’s professionals is essential for them to have the best presence and effective activity in the online reality,” the Athens Development & Destination Management Agency said.
The agency will hold the conference in cooperation with Travel Media Applications that specializes in marketing, sales and communication exclusively for the travel and tourism industry.
The cost to attend Digi.Travel is included in the cost of participation for the Black Sea Tourism Forum & Workshop. The price to only attend the conference is 150 euros + VAT. A special price of 100 euros + VAT is available for members of the Athens Conventions & Visitors Bureau.
The Black Sea Tourism Forum & Workshop is a joint initiative of the City of Athens and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
GTP is among the main media sponsors of the forum.
