Thessaloniki’s Hoteliers Informed On Health And Safety Best Practices
New developments relating to health and safety issues in hotels were presented recently at an informative workshop for owners and food and beverage managers of hotel units in Thessaloniki.
The workshop was organized by the Thessaloniki Hotels Association and the Region of Central Macedonia to upgrade the quality of services of tourism businesses in the Northern Greek city.
During the workshop, new regulations for food and leisure services in hotels were presented, along with new obligations and rights of owners and employees.
“The association cooperates with all relevant state agencies so the interventions in tourism are not at random, opportunistic and deferred as they were at times, but are coordinated and move towards the improvement of our competitive product,” the president of the association, Aristotelis Thomopoulos, said.
According to the association, the infrastructure of Thessaloniki’s hotels were rated “almost excellent” in a recent customer satisfaction survey on the hotels in the Northern Greek city.
