The City Of Athens Supports Entrepreneurs
The City of Athens recently organized the first round of consultation meetings with agencies and investors within the framework of the actions of the Athens Development and Destination Management Agency (EATA) to support entrepreneurship and the technological competitiveness of businesses in Athens.
The purpose of the consultation meetings are to exchange ideas and suggestions to support/attract businesses, address bureaucracy through faster services of the municipality and increase employment opportunities by upgrading human resource skills.
The key players that attended the consultation meetings, exchanged ideas and this way strengthened the efforts of the municipal authorities that aim to change the business climate in Athens.
The consultation meeting was attended by the following key players: Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Athens Chamber of Handicrafts, Hellenic Confederation of Professionals, Craftsmen & Merchants (GSEVEE), Athens Traders Association, Hellenic Retail Business Association (SELPE), Athens – Attica & Argosaronikos Hotel Association, Association Greek Tourism Enterprises (SETE), Bilateral Chambers of the U.S., UK, Italy, France and Germany, General Secretariat for Strategic and Private Investment, Invest in Greece, Hellenic Association of Mobile Application Companies, Hellenic Semiconductor Industry Association, Agricultural University, School of Fine Arts, Panhellenic Exporters Association and Greek Foreign Trade Company-OPE.
A consultation meeting with academics and academic institutions of the Greek capital will soon follow.
