Hotel Chamber: Athens Tourism To Benefit From AIA-Aegean Airlines Cooperation
The Hellenic Chamber of Hotels applauded today, 19 March, the joint initiatives launched recently by Athens International Airport (AIA) and Aegean Airlines that aim to boost tourism in Athens and have a beneficial outcome for Greece’s entire tourism industry this year.
“The announced policy of attracting and rewarding the customers of AIA through a complete package of targeted discounts on airport fees and the launch of eight flights to European destinations by Aegean Airlines, are examples of entrepreneurship that give new opportunities to Greek tourism,” the hotel chamber said in an announcement.
Aegean Airlines announced it would launch regular routes to Geneva, Manchester, Lyon, Kiev, Baku, Berlin, Warsaw and St. Petersburg, reaching to more than 40 total routes from Athens, 28 of which are international.
