Athens Wine Festival Opens At Zappeion Next Month
Greece’s most popular and acclaimed wine event “Dionysia” will open its doors for the seventh time in Athens, 8-10 February 2013, at the Zappeion Megaron.
Participation at this year’s festival is expected to be massive and will include distilleries and wine importers. Visitors will have the opportunity to sample some of the best and most expensive labels produced by Greek vineyard, many new wines and major labels from international vineyard.
Over 1.000 different wines will be available for wine tasting.
At Dionysia 2013, selected bottled wines will be on sale electronically (in collaboration with the online cellar HouseOfWine.gr) without immediate payment.
In addition, three of Attica’s most well-known wine tasting schools (WSPC, Inos o Agapitos and Wine Genius in Gastronomy) will offer free wine tasting courses.
Dionyssia 2013 will be held under the auspices of the National Interprofessional Organization of Vine and Wine (EDOAO).
