Greece, France Discuss Tourism Cooperation
Greece and France discussed the possibility of developing joint tourism programs between the two countries, yesterday, Monday, 17 December, the Greek Tourism Ministry reported.
At a meeting held in Paris, France, between Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni and French Tourism and Commerce Minister Sylvia Pinel, the parties discussed bilateral issues and the development of special interest tourism such as gastronomy tourism.
The discussion focused on joint social tourism programs for the young and the elderly that could be financed by European Union funds.
Also mentioned was the development of student exchange programs between the two countries that would aim for exchange students to learn the language of the host country.
