Greece Welcomes Superjumbo Emirates A380
Athens, Greece, welcomed the luxurious Emirates A380 aircraft through one single route at Athens International Airport (AIA) Eleftherios Venizelos on Friday, 26 October.
“Today’s landing of award winning Emirates A380 in Greece is a milestone that reflects the 16 years of continuous service on the Athens-Dubai route. Today’s route of the A380 to AIA comes to give new impetus to tourism and trade relations which Emirates and the United Arab Emirates maintain with Greece and local authorities for many years,” Richard Jewsbury, Emirates senior vice president commercial operations Europe and Russian Federation, said.

Emirates A380 is an environmentally friendly double-decker aircraft that offers an array of comforts from private suites and shower spas in First Class to flatbed seats in Business Class to extra room and custom lighting in Economy Class and in-flight WiFi throughout the aircraft.
