SETE: 10th Tourism & Development Conference
Initiatives for the Greek economy based on consensual approaches and a broader political, social and economic cooperation aimed at a recovery and an exit from the crisis will be analyzed at the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises’ (SETE) 10th tourism and development conference.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Tourism: a national case” and will take place at the Divani Caravel hotel 31 October-1 November.
According to SETE, given the fact that tourism is the main pillar of economic growth, it is necessary to achieve synergies that would deliver very positive results to Greece’s economy.
“The Greek society, as a whole, has recognized the importance of tourism and any initiative to support and further develop the sector will receive a very positive response,” the association said.
SETE’s 10th tourism and development conference aims to start a new era for Greek tourism. “An era in which political parties and tourism professionals will agree to commit and motivate the Greek economy’s effort to recovery through tourism,” the association said.
Keynote speakers at the conference will be representatives of the Greek Government, tourism professionals and representatives from the banking sector, academics and entrepreneurs.
