Greek Hoteliers To Unite And Attract Luxury Tourists
Greek hoteliers are planning to design a new tourism package, gain a leading role in luxury tourism and attract visitors of high income, the Greek press said last month.
According to press reports, hoteliers of small luxury hotels and resorts located on Greek islands will unite and provide a common brand name so visitors that purchase the specific tour package could be accommodated in two or more hotels that offer the same services. The transportation of visitors to travel from one place to another will be via luxury cruisers included in the package price.
The concept of the new tour package is to merge small luxury hotels spread throughout the Aegean and Ionian islands with luxury yachting so as to attract high-income tourists.
The Hellenic Federation of Hoteliers told the press that Greece must re-establish itself on the tourism map with a brand name to be among the preferences of luxury tourists.
