The Tourism Development Company (ETA) and the Tourism Development Ministry recently announced the launch of a new advertising campaign for Parnassos Ski Resort following a series of upgrades to the resort’s facilities and services. The new campaign “O Parnassos skizei” (Parnassos rules) has already been launched on the radio and on websites and is anticipated on television spots in due course. The new campaign follows upgrades undertaken by ETA such as the installation of the advanced ticket system “skidata,” improvement and organization of the runs, the refurbishment of “Fterolakkas” chalet, the anti-frost upgrade of the detachable aerial lift “Iraklis” and the application of company identity and image on all sectors of the resort.
A pilot ticket service for Parnassos ski resort is in place in Arachova whilst ETA is currently discussing the prospect of additional services in the municipality of Delphi and Amfiklia. ETA also anticipates ticket sale through the website www.parnassos-ski.gr.
Separately, ETA recently took part with a stand at MIPIM 2008 international commercial property exhibition on 10-14 March at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France. This year some 80 countries were represented and exhibitors and visitors amounted to 28,000 in total. In its 50-square-meter stand ETA hosted the Hellenic Center for Investment (ELKE), the national investment agency responsible for seeking, promoting and supporting foreign investment in Greece.
